TRANSNATIONAL PROJECT MEETING IN POLAND
The transnational project meeting was held in the coordinating school from 5th to 9th November 2017. We prepared a detailed plan of the project activities for the first school year and more general for the next. We discussed activities planned for the international exchange visit in Finland . We determined the dates of all the Learning, Teaching and Training events. We talked about diff erent project matters (communication strategies, collaborative working spacec, project risk and time management, budget control strategies, project evaluation, monitoring and dissemination activities). The teachers also described what had been done in their schools in the project so far. We worked on the ideas of basic skills questionnaire prepared by Turkish team. We chose the questions and prepared online survey.
The visitors had an opportunity to get to know Polish educational system and the coordinating school. Also the partners gave the rest some information about their schools, educational systems and home towns. That transnational project meeting was a great experience of face to face discussion and allowed us to prepare a good and detailed plan. The guest teachers had an opportunity to do some sightseeing in Krakow on their way to Korczyna. During the visit, a trip to the Bieszczady mountains was organised which was a chance to see beautiful nature and to have small talks to in the project team. We believe that we create a strong, responsible group and will be able to do a great project.
TRANSNATIONAL LEARNING ACTIVITY
Our first LTT activity was held in Finland from 21 May to 25 May 2018.
The meeting started with a welcoming event at school during which all guests made short presentations of their schools and hometowns. Later the international groups were formed and there was a school orienteering game. After a short introduction toFanfiction the work in the international group on the ’The Little Prince’ Fan fiction started. It was continued during the next days and finally on the last day of the visit 6 different episodes of ‘The Little Prince’ Fanfiction were presented. They were all in a form of audio recording. Students also followed some lessons with their hosts to get to know school life in Finland. Teachers saw a presentation about Finish School system but they had an opportunity to shadow lessons as well.
There was also a one-day-long trip to Ähtäri Zoo and Flow Park. It was a great chance to see the region and its natural beauties. Both the students and the teachers were able to check their strengh in the rope park. Another interesting acitivity was the Seppo Game which let us know the town of Jyväskylä. All the time we enjoyed surprisinglywarm and sunny weather. There was a “ Share a book” event in Finland. It took place in the school buildings. There were a few places were the books have been collected and offered to potential readers. Anybody could bring a book and take another one.
Welcoming party organised by parents took place on the first evening of the visit. We had an opportunity to meet host families, to enjoy different games, tradtional music and dances, to eat homemade food.
There was an evaluation and most of the students claimed that they had communicated sufficiently in the English improving the communication and cooperation skills. They made new friends and became more open to other cultures. They improved their basic and cross skills through participation in activities connected with the fanfiction. The teachers raised their skills of communication in English and motivation for further work. They experienced some innovative methods of learning and teaching and learned about Finnish educational system. The teachers summarised the first year of the project and prepared a detailed plan of the next school year.
TRANSNATIONAL LEARNING ACTIVITY
The second LTT activity was held in Italy, in Palermo from 22 October to 26 October 2018.
The meeting started with workshops entitled ‘Getting to know’ for Erasmus+ students and teachers. Next there was a welcome show prepared by the Italian students with traditional music and dances. In the afternoon the first workshops preparing for the performance took place. The students worked in four groups: acting, musical, dancing and artistic (costumes and scenic design). They were preparing a play based on ‘The Little Prince’ fanfiction written in Finland. On Tuesday all the groups continued workshops both in the morning and in the afternoon. On Thursday morning another workshops session was held and on Friday the performance was presented to the audience. It was a great international activity during each students from all partner countries were involved in a real cooperation. Attert the performance ‘Share a book‘ event was organised. All the quests and a lot of Italian students were asked to bring a book in English with the inscription. Then they were able to choose one book for themselves.
During the meeting the teachers had an opportunity to see some classrooms to talk to teachers and students. They also participated in the science lesson which was carried out partly in English. The teachers summarised September and October activities and prepared a detailed plan for the time before meeting in Poland. The students also followed some lessons with their hosts to learn a bit about school life in Italy.
Then there was a one-day-long trip to Selinunte where we visited the biggest archelogical park in Europe. It was a great chance to see an exciting example of Greek civilization in Sicily. After the amazing history lesson all were able to enjoy the beach. Most of the visit time we enjoyed warm and sunny weather.
The evaluation survey results show that the students really enjoyed the meeting. They communicated sufficiently in the English improving the communication and cooperation skills. They learnt some facts about other countries and became more open to other cultures. They improved their basic and cross skills through participation in workshops preparing for the performance. The final show was a great event for the whole group.
TRANSNATIONAL LEARNING ACTIVITY
The third LTT activity was held in Poland, in Korczyna from 25th March to 29th March 2019.
The meeting started with a welcome show during which Erasmus+ group from Korczyna presented a short play telling a story about the project. Also some songs and dances were presented by students of different age. In the afternoon the international Erasmus+ team had a chance to play games prepared by each partner school. The games turned out to be a great ice breaking activity which helped when the international pairs started working on Scratch. There were three session of coding: the introduction activities, making an animation connected with the project and preparing a game entitled ‘Treasure Hunt’. On the last day of the meeting all the animations were presented to the whole Erasmus+ group and five chosen games were also shown. Next the students had a chance to play the chosen games. The winners got some prizes. After the presentations and playing games, ‘Share a book ‘ event was organised. All the quests and a lot of Polish students were asked to bring a book in English with the inscription. Then they were able to choose one book for themselves.
During the meeting the teachers had an opportunity to go around the school, to see some classrooms to talk to teachers and students. They also participated in some lessons (English, Physics and Music). The teachers summarised activities done since the last meeting in Italy and prepared a detailed plan for the last months of the project.
The students also followed some lessons with their hosts and had an opportunity to learn a bit about school life in Poland. A great fun for them were the art workshops during which they prepared eco-bags for each other. They painted on material bags different ornaments connected with the project, friendship, countries, etc.
On Tuesday all the students and teachers went on a day trip to the concentration Nazi camp in Auschwitz and to the former capital of Poland – Cracow. It was an important history lesson especially for the young generation.

They enjoyed working in Scratch and playing games.
TRANSNATIONAL LEARNING ACTIVITY
The fourth LTT activity was held in Spain, in Granada from 22 May to 24 May 2019. The hosting school was Colegio Compañía de María.
At the beginning the students and their hosts participated in group dynamics to get to know each other better. Afterwards, students and teachers visited the school. The school headmistress welcomed the teachers and then they attended the presentation of an innovative methodology created by two teachers of Spanish school: “Educágica”.
The student groups were then formed to participate in the "Maths Olympic Games", each group consists of pupils from all countries. The students prepared in groups the stories and materials they needed for the recording activity of a video.
The second day began with a talk about the relationship between the Alhambra and mathematics. Next, a workshop was held to create mosaics similar to those that decorate the monument. Afterwards there was “Share a book event” - an exchange of books among the students. Later the students continued the recording of the video prepared the previous day. The teachers met to summarize the project activities and plan the final evaluation.
The next morning, the videos made by the students were seen. Afterwards, all visited the Faculty of Architecture and the Carmen de los Mártires.
In the afternoon, the group went to the most important monument of the city, considered one of the wonders of the world: the Alhambra. On the other day the teachers had also an opportunity to see the historic center of the city and visit the most typical neighborhood of Granada: the Albaicín and attend a flamenco show.
The fourth day was spent visiting the “Parque de las Ciencias”. Students enjoyed that science centre and museum very much.
On Friday, the "English Day" was held at school, on the occasion of the visit. The entire school, all the educational stages planned activities in English to be carried out throughout the day. Erasmus+ students started with games of mathematical ability and ingenuity. They took tea and pasta made by the students. Later, there was the "Maths Olympic Games" with the assistance of other students from the school. Next there was a performance of songs and poems by the youngest students of the school, as well as a theatrical performance prepared by the older ones. The event was continued with a sports Gymkhana to finish with "Energy Ending" in which the whole school and the visitors participated.
A farewell party was held with the entire educational community of the school. All were able to eat a typical “paella”, enjoy performances and sports events, and the "Haunted house" attraction.
